How to check a work permit for a Polish visa via e-konsulat

You can verify a Polish work permit on the official e-konsulat website to make sure the document is genuine and registered. It takes a few minutes, and the system will send the verification result to your email within a day.

Where to find the verification form

On the e-konsulat website, you need to select your country’s consulate and the service. If you’re applying for a visa through the Polish representation in Manila:

1. Open e-konsulat and switch the interface language to English.
2. Select the first letter of your country (for the Philippines — P).
3. Click on the consulate city (Manila).
4. On the consulate’s website, find the National Visa Register form.
5. Select the service type — Employment.
6. Specify the consulate city (Manila).

Click «Next» and proceed to fill out the form.

How to fill out the verification form

The form requires personal details and information from the work permit:

Personal details:

• Last name and first name in capital letters
• Work email
• Phone number with country code
• Date of arrival in Poland
• Date of departure from Poland

Passport details:

• The passport number used when obtaining the work permit. This is important: the passport must match the one stated in the permit and the one you’ll submit for the visa.

Work permit information: Take all data from the permit itself:

• Permit type — select the second option (Sprawie zezwolenia)
• Permit number
• Issue date
• Expiry date
• Issuing authority (select from the drop-down list — it’s crucial not to make a mistake here, since the system checks the data against the register)

Getting the verification result

After filling out the form, you’ll receive two emails within 48 hours.

The first email confirms that your application has been registered in the system. It will contain a link that must be confirmed within 48 hours. Check your spam folder — sometimes the email ends up there.

The second email contains the permit verification result. It states that the document is being checked by Polish authorities. Keep waiting — this check may take less than 24 hours or a bit longer.

The final email gives the answer: “positively verified” (the permit is genuine) or a negative result.

What a positive verification means

If the email contains the words “positively verified”, it means the work permit is genuine and registered in the Polish register. The same email will include a link to fill out the full visa application form — it must be completed within 48 hours.

For applicants from the Philippines: if the link doesn’t work, fill out the application through the form on the consulate’s website by selecting the “Complete the application form” option, since documents must be submitted through BLS International.

What to do if the result is negative

If the verification shows a negative result, it can mean two things:

1. The permit is fake — in this case, contact the employer or the agent who arranged it.
2. You made a mistake while filling out the form — for example, entered the wrong passport number, permit number, issue date, or issuing authority.

Double-check all the data against the permit and resubmit the form.
