These terms apply to everyone who reads VisaProAdviser. By using the site, you accept them.

1. The material is for reference

We explain how visa and immigration rules work and show where those rules are written down. This is not legal advice, not an assessment of your situation, and not an instruction for your particular case. Reading an article does not create a lawyer-client relationship between us.

Every case has details an article cannot see: earlier refusals, criminal records, the status of family members, mistakes in previously filed applications. In a complex or unusual situation, consult a licensed immigration lawyer or an accredited adviser.

2. We do not make the decision

A visa, permit or status is granted or refused by a consulate or an immigration authority of the country concerned. They apply their own rules and retain discretion. No article on this site gives, promises, or could promise a guaranteed outcome.

3. How current the material is

Immigration rules change often and sometimes without notice. Every article shows its publication date and, where relevant, the date it was last verified. We check facts against official sources and publish links to them precisely so that you can confirm the current version of a rule yourself before filing.

An older article may have gone out of date even if it was accurate when published.

4. Liability

We prepare articles carefully and verify facts before publication, but we do not warrant that every statement is complete and in force at the moment you read it.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, VisaProAdviser is not liable for decisions taken on the basis of material published on this site or for their consequences — including a visa refusal, a missed deadline, money spent on fees or translations, changed plans, or any indirect loss.

The texts, headlines, selections, diagrams, tables, infographics and illustrations on this site are protected by copyright. Publishing them online does not place them in the public domain.

6. What you may do with our material

Permitted without asking:

  • linking to articles and sharing links;
  • quoting a short extract (roughly up to 150 words) with a clear credit to “VisaProAdviser” and a working link to the original;
  • saving articles for your own reading.

Not permitted:

  • republishing an article in full or in substantial part, including in translation;
  • using our text without a credit and a link;
  • using our images, diagrams or infographics separately from the article;
  • harvesting site content automatically to populate other services or to train models;
  • altering the substance of an article while keeping our byline on it.

Requests for republication go to [email protected].

7. Images

Illustrations are either produced for this publication or obtained from sources that permit this use. The right to read an article is not a right to reuse its images.

We link to official government sites and other external sources. We do not control their content and are not responsible for it; a link does not imply endorsement. An official source may change or remove a page without notice.
